Happy, Thursday everybody. This is our inaugural #TBT post! Today’s post focuses on a recent episode of The Fight Team Podcast featuring the one and only Alex Ecklin. This episode is titled “Unique Perspectives,” and that is an incredibly appropriate title for something featuring Alex.

Alex is renown for more than just the G Roll (although inventing that is pretty killer if you ask me). Indeed, Alex is known for being a leader of the new school in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. As Masterskya students, we are fortunate to be studying under a forward thinking instructor like Alex. Take some time exploring other gyms, and you’ll find that not every instructor and gym is as open-minded as Alex and Masterskya.

Alex’s philosophy and ethics are cutting edge, but they are also rooted in tradition. That is the crux of the appeal behind Alex and Masterskya’s methodology.
